ELF 144-Piece Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette-Neutral Eye

elf 144-piece Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette -Neutural Eye Review

Hi Everyone!

I hope you enjoyed your Holidays!  I was so surprised when my husband gave me this eyeshadow palette for Christmas!  I  thought I would share with you some of my thoughts.  The palette has 144 shades and gives you a wide variety of color choices...from shimmering cream shades to rich chocolates and deep burgurdys. These are really gorgeous colors that give you endless possibilities to create any eye look you desire.  There is a good mix of shimmery and Matte shadows, the pigmentation is fantastic in most shades and with a primer they are long lasting.  There are a few exceptions, I found some of the matte shades to be a little less pigmented and a little chalky.  Only a few, if you add a few layers you can definitely work with them.   However for the price this palette is a great value.  My husband picked this up at Target for 15 dollars, what a deal!  I couldn't be happier with them and have been having so much fun creating new looks.  I would definitely recommend adding this palette to your collection

Have a great day!

Hi everyone!

I am super excited to share you with a new product from Covergirl that I have been loving.   It is called the the blast flipstick. I was lucky enough to be selected to try this product.  It is a unique double ended lipstick, so actually it is 2 lipsticks in one.  One end is a bold creamy shade and the other end is a light shimmery color.  This provides you so many opportunities to mix and match different shades, so you can customize your look! Even create an ombre look! There are 13 different blast flipsticks to choose from....

My favorite shade is Vixen it is a bright pink color on one end and a light pink shimmer on the other.  I love my pinks! What I like to do is to use the darker color on my upper lip and lower lip and shade the middle of my bottom lip to make my lips look fuller and more 3 dimensional.  I really have been loving this look! I really like the formula too..they are creamy and long lasting.  I think these are a great product and give you endless possibilities!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and please subscribe!

Have a great day!

Wet n Wild Megalast Under Your Spell

Nail of the day: Wet n Wild Megalast Under Your Spell

     Hi Everyone!

I am loving this color!  It is Wet n Wild Megalast in the shade called Under your Spell.  It is a gorgeous black base polish with red shimmers.  It almost appears to be a deep burgundy color from far.  The consistency is a little thin.  I applied three coats, but it dries to such a shiny finish that you don't have to apply a top coat.   I would say this a close dupe to China Glaze X.  If you haven't tried the Wet n Wild Megalast nail polishes you should give them a try. They are only $2 and have a nice professional wide brush. They have a wide range of colors and don't chip.  I think they a great deal!

Have a great day!

I heart drugstore makeup! Best affordable makeup

Hi Everyone!  I have been enjoying the I heart drugstore makeup tag that has been going around you tube.  Check out some of the videos, they are so much fun to watch.  I decided to blog my answers.   So lets get started!

1. What is your favorite drugstore makeup brand?

This is a tough one because I love so many..  I think every brand has hits and misses.  But I would have to go with Revlon and Wet n Wild.   Love Revlon lip products and you can't beat Wet n Wild eye shadows.  So I declare a tie.

2. What is your favorite face product?

I would say my Neutrogena Healthy skin foundation..its awesome!  Great for my dry skin and fine lines. I actually think it makes my skin look better. It has been compared to Nar's sheer glow. It is a dewy foundation and might not work for oily skin.  But I love it.

3. What is your  favorite cheek product?

Milani baked blush in luminoso.  This is a gorgeous peach tone blush with just a little shimmer. Gives your cheeks a glow.

4. Whats your favorite lip product?

Revlon lip butters.  The lip butters are so moisturizing and come in such a wide variety of colors. My favorite for the fall is Berry Smoothie. I love berry colors in the fall.

Berry Smoothie

5. Least favorite drugstore product?

Wet n wild eye liners ....You have to press too hard and they smudge..they are only a dollar..but in this case you get what you paid for.

6. What is the best drugstore Bargain?

NYC Smooth Skin bronzer in shade sunny. This 2 dollars and is a fantastic matte bronzer. I have fair skin and this is my go to bronzer. Perfect for contouring on my pale skin.   You can't beat it for the price.

7. What is your favorite underdog product?

Covergirl professional all in one mascara. Never hear much about this mascara but I can't go without it. Does smudge or clump. Its just perfect.

8.  What product is overpriced?

Physicians Formula.  Not that impressed with the brand and is on the high side.

9. Show your best drugstore dupe.

I don't purchase any high end makeup. My collection is all drugstore.. so I really don't dupe. But I do search for dupes online and found my Elf contouring blush and bronzer is suppose to be a dupe for Nars ogasm and laguna. Not sure if it is but I think this a great product!

10. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?

Maybelline Falsie Mascara.  People rave about it. I had to rush out and get it. I hated it..clumpy and transferred.
Hope you enjoyed this tag and go online and check out some of the fantastic videos out there. Please tell me  some of your drugstore favorites in the comments below.  I am always interested in trying something new!
Have a great day!

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Review

November 5, 2012,

Burt's Bees intense hydration review

Hi Everyone,

I was super excited to be selected to try a few products in the Burt's Bees intense hydration line.  I
wanted to share with you my thoughts...I have been using the intense hydration cream cleanser, intense hydration night cream and  intense hydration mask.

I have been loving these products...with the change of seasons my skin is usually super dry and flaky.  These products have made such a difference in my skin.  The first thing I noticed is the amazing smell I look forward for having to use these products!  The cleanser leaves my skin smooth and moisturized...I don't get that tight dry feeling that some cleansers leave. It does a great job of removing my makeup without stripping my face  The night cream in not greasy and absorbs quickly into my skin.  I wake up with such smooth and soft skin.  I think I enjoy the mask the most it really made my skin feel revitalized and less dull appearing.

I really recommend these products to anyone who has dry skin.. It really has made a difference in mine!
